A horror-themed coffee shop in North Hollywood. Known for its spooky decor, horror character murals, and cleverly named drinks, it’s the perfect pit stop for horror fans in need of a caffeine boost.
Spooky Coffee and Horror Murals
I visited on a Saturday around 11 a.m. in March, so not spooky season, and the shop was somewhat busy with most the tables taken. I also visited in October last year and the line was down the block, so if you’re visiting close to spooky season, I would get there early or be ready for a little wait. Once you’re in front of the shop though the horror covered walls will keep you busy. I’ve been a couple of times and I spot a new horror fav every time.
Inside, the party continues with more amazing artwork, spooky nods everywhere, and Nosferatu with a killer stache. The menu is also horror-themed, named after characters and movies. Some of my favorites include:
- The Candy Man – Honey white mocha latte
- Gordy’s Home – A banana mocha latte (my favorite: iced)
- Mr. Baba Brew – Chocolate cherry café au lait (from the seasonal menu!)
The drinks are more than clever references, they taste delicious. Gordy’s Home is my all-time favorite, and even though I’ve tried many other tasty ones, I always come back to it.
While Horror Vibes Coffee isn’t in Burbank, it’s a next door neighbor to Horror Row, so if your idea of the perfect day is iced coffee and spooky things, you gotta start here.
