For the Horror-Loving Coffee Drinker
Roast the Dead’s Riverside location stays true to good coffee and horror. You will find Michael Myers on his porch doing his thing, just like in Yucaipa, and this shop Scream its moment. Ghostface has a full corner to himself, complete with a bloody phone. In the other corner there’s an open chair by the Crypt Keeper, so you can sip your drink with your favorite ghoul. Finally the witch, skeleton, and pumpkin from Halloween 3 even make a little appearance.
This spot also has actual seating, which is a treat for Roast the Dead. There’s room to sit down and enjoy your drink without having to rush back to the car, so you can enjoy that AC during the hotter months. The drinks are the same lineup as Yucaipa, so whether you want something simple or one of their fancy spooky creations, you’ll find something. I do ask you though, how can you resist a Jason Mask foam topper?
If you’re out exploring spooky spots in Riverside, definitely add this to your day. The drinks are good, the theming is awesome (my favorite of all of the spooky coffee shops), and you can sit and take a load off in the AC.
