A horror-themed coffee shop in Yucaipa filled with slashers, vampires, and some of the best spooky decor around.
Slasher Icons, Espresso, and Lost Boys Love
If you like your coffee with a side of slashers, add Roast the Dead in Yucaipa to your list. This is the original location, and of all the horror-themed coffee spots I’ve been to, this one has the coolest atmosphere.
Every inch of the shop is a horror reference. There’s a literal porch with Michael Myers just standing there, casually terrifying. Freddy and Jason make an appearance. And the whole place feels like someone decorated using the contents of a Knotts Scary Farm storage unit.
The Lost Boys setup was my personal favorite. Garlic strands, missing flyers, Chinese takeout containers, David’s blood bottle?! For those of us eternally obsessed with Santa Carla and beefy saxophone players, this one’s for you.
The drinks are great too. I guess that’s worth mentioning. You can order something classic or pick one of their spooky-themed creations. The cold brew with Vorhees Fog is a marshmallow cold foam topper with Jason’s mask drawn on top while the Here’s Johnny Fog is a bourbon caramel flavored cold foam with REDRUM written on top. Every thing I’ve tried has been fun and tasty.
If you’re a horror fan or just want your caffeine with a little chaos, this place is really fun stop.
