Taxidermy & Yap
I visited on a Saturday afternoon and spent about an hour exploring. The shop is beautifully curated with dark items. I ended up taking home a couple of spine candles and a body oil that smells incredible, and while I wanted to take home half the store, I also could have spent hours just browsing the other half.
The taxidermy is amazing, which is a phrase I never thought I’d hear myself say. And I gotta say, the bones are incredible too. One of the coolest things to check out is the dark dollhouse. You can look into the windows through the front and see each room or go around the back and see all of the dark details.
So far, I’ve only stopped by during normal store hours, but they also host events, including a class on communicating with haunted items. I’ve never met a ghosty or communicated with a haunted item, but god I want to. Well, I think I do.
